Growing and expanding company seeking a laundromat manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Laundromat Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining equipment, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee day-to-day operations of the laundry facility.
-Manage and schedule a team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
-Maintain and repair laundry equipment as needed, coordinating with maintenance personnel when necessary.
-Ensure high-quality customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints effectively.
-Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
-Manage wash and fold services.
-Implement and enforce safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
-Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, cash handling, and reporting.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
-Implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in the laundry or service industry.
-Strong leadership and organizational skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
-Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
-Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
-Knowledge of laundry equipment operations and maintenance is a plus.
-Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
Education:
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Additional certification or training in business management or related fields is advantageous.
