Catalina Transportation is hiring for a full-time, split-shift position for a dispatcher/ vehicle maintenance/ detailer. Responsibilities:
§ Receive and manage incoming customer inquiries, reservations, and service requests via phone and email.
§ Maintain accurate records of reservations, dispatch activities, and customer communications using computerized systems and software.
§ Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining documentation related to dispatch operations.
§ Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, both interior and exterior, to ensure they are guest-ready at all times. All done at local car wash facility.
§ Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, and upholstery.
§ Clean and polish vehicle exteriors, including washing, waxing and buffing (when necessary) to remove dirt, grime and residue.
§ Conduct inspections to identify any damage, wear and tear, or maintenance issues and report them promptly to management.
§ Collaborate with other team members to meet cleaning schedules and deadlines effectively.
§ Coordinate vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups from local service providers when vehicles require routine mechanical maintenance or other services.
§ Monitor and maintain correct fluid levels in vehicles (including motor oil and Blue DEF, etc).
§ Assist with other duties as assigned by management to support overall operations.
Qualifications:
§ Previous experience in dispatching and/or vehicle maintenance and detailing is preferred but not required; we provide paid day-shift training.
§ Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
§ Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with dispatching software and Microsoft Office applications.
§ The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
§ Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
§ Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
§ Good physical stamina and dexterity for performing cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
§ Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
§ Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
§ Flexibility to work a split-shift that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
§ Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
