About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete tasks efficiently and to high standards, ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are met.
Supervise and assist subcontractors, making sure work is done correctly and within schedule.
Train and mentor team members on construction methods and best practices.
Communicate effectively with principals about any issues or concerns that are encountered.
Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order.
Act as a representative of the company, maintaining professionalism and courtesy when interacting with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
What You’ll Need:
Experience: At least 8 years of practical carpentry experience, including framing, drywall, concrete, and basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and painting.
Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and work flow.
Technical Ability: Competence in using common construction tools and equipment.
Problem-Solving: Excellent decision-making and communication skills; ability to work independently and/or as a team.
Requirements: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a must.
