Position Overview:

The Responsible Managing Employee (RME) will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements for our construction projects. This role involves managing project execution and ensuring that all operations align with company standards and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the qualifying individual for the company’s contractor license, maintaining compliance with state and local regulations.

- Oversee day-to-day construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

- Review and approve project bids, contracts, and change orders.

- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, maintaining open communication with all stakeholders.

- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.

- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations to ensure continuous compliance and improvement.

Qualifications:

- Valid state contractor license and ability to act as the qualifying individual.

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
