We are seeking a skilled and reliable Overnight Commercial Painter to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting commercial interiors, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform quality work in a fast-paced, overnight environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare interior surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
Mask and cover as required to protect nearby surfaces
Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
Follow project specifications to ensure quality standards and desired outcomes.
Safely handle and store painting materials and tools.
Clean and maintain work areas and equipment after completing the project.
Communicate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies during all tasks.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a commercial or residential painter (commercial interior painting preferred).
Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and painting tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical ability to lift/carry heavy materials up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various positions including ability to reach from floor to overhead and tolerance of standing posture up to 4 hr continuously/8 hr per day.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts and adapt to project needs.
Reliable transportation to job sites within the Tucson area.
Must be fluent in English
