Job Title: Manufacturing and Production Specialist – Automobile and Powersports Products

Job Description: Contribute to the success of a growing team and company by supporting manufacturing and operations via your knowledge of machinery, fabrication methods, and production assembly.

What The Job Entails:

A typical day in this position will require a successful candidate to be able to work effectively on a variety of tasks without constant supervision. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, efficient, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Some of the common requirements for this position will be:

Demonstrated experience with assembly, disassembly, and/or re-assembly of complex performance products and subcomponents.

Ability to effectively and efficiently diagnose and repair routine, or common, failures with automotive and powersport products and assemblies.

Ability to identify, evaluate, install aftermarket performance components to support projects of varying complexity.

Demonstrated ability to perform mathematical calculations to used determine form, fit, and/or function.

Demonstrated ability to work with common hand and power tools.

Experience with inventory management including inventory tracking, stocking requirements, and re-order procedures.

Inspect, disassemble, and clean incoming customer furnished material, as needed.

While the following are not requirements for the position an ideal candidate will have the following experience or the ability to learn the following skills:

Ability to operate manufacturing equipment including, but not limited to,

o Multi-axis mill, lathe, valve seat cutting machine, cylinder boring machine, manual and automated grinding equipment, airflow bench, and others.

MIG and TIG welding

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Ability to use precision digital and analog measurement tools

o Caliper, micrometer, height gauge, dial bore gauge, pin gauge, hardness tester, voltmeter, etc.

About You: Are you somebody who has a passion for cars, trucks, or powersports? Does your perfect weekend consist of spending time in the garage with your hot rod? Do you like to build things? If so, this may be the job for you. In addition to a passion for all things automotive (not a requirement) here are the skills you will need to be successful in this position:

Operational understanding of single and multi-cylinder, two and four cycle, engines.

Time management skills including ability to prioritize and work efficiently.

Organization and cleanliness.

Detailed orientated.

Ability to understand and follow written instructions and directions.

Position Related Requirements:

In person at the facility M-F 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Must be on time every day.

Supply your own hand tools (ratchets, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.).

Supply your own protective equipment (steel toe shoes, eye protection, ear protection, etc.).

Must be able to stand for the majority of your shift.

Must be able to walk efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Must be able to lift, at least, 20 lbs unassisted over your head.

Ability to work overtime and weekends on an as needed basis.

Work in shaded areas outside of the building as needed.
