Job description
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout and installation of ironwork
-Rigging, connecting, plumb columns bolt-up
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assemble, install, and repair iron structures
- welding to AWS D1.1 standards.
- Install bar- joist and decking
- Operate oxy-fuel torch cutting equipment to cut iron materials according to specifications
- Adhere to building codes and industry standards to ensure safety and compliance

- Perform tasks, such as drilling or reaming , to modify Steel components
- Assemble and disassemble temporary structures for construction projects
Experience:
- Previous experience as an ironworker or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of various tools and equipment used in ironworking
- Familiarity with welding techniques and welding processes
- Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
