Building Maintenance Technician
Primary Responsibilities
The position focus will be to maintain, troubleshoot and repair all infrastructure systems including HVAC, Chilled Water Distribution, pumps, motors, and general shop tools. In this role you need to perform as a facilities mechanic supporting building operations. This role requires the ability to work 12 hour shifts in order to cover the site 24/7. Weekend work is required. Requires the ability to support overtime/ nights if business, schedule, or emergency situations arise.
Required Qualifications
Expert level experience in HVAC and Building Automation Controls
Expert level understanding of building repair.
Expert level experience in pumps, motors, valve and actuator operation
Expertise in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
Strong ability to create solutions for building issues.
Computer acumen to include strong understanding of the function and application of common office technology including Google Suite of software and other Web based tools.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards for Safe work practice, hazard assessment and mitigation
Understand how to use and maintain all shop tools.
Strong Oral/ Written Communication skills
Automotive technician experience is not required but is a plus.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts in order to cover the site 24/7.
