Event / Audio Tech

Local Tucson Production Company looking for event set-up and tear-down labor support as well as audio engineer. This is a Tucson-based event production company that conducts business all over Arizona. Must be willing to travel to Arizona destinations including Tucson, Oro Valley, Sahuarita, Benson, Sierra Vista, and Douglas to the south and Phoenix, Glendale, Mesa, Tempe, Cottonwood to the north. Looking for two different applicants. Please respond to this ad if you are able to work full days on the weekends as general event set-up and tear-down labor. Duties include setting up staging, audio systems, and lighting systems. Stage-hand work will also be a part of this job. Prior knowledge of these duties are welcomed, but not necessarily a prerequisite. On-the-job training will also be offered. The second tier to this posting is audio engineering knowledge. Must be able to trouble-shoot feedback issues, EQ monitors, conduct a quick and quality soundcheck. Being a musician is a bonus, but not required. Must have a valid drivers license and able to be a fast thinker and quick to solve problems. Must be able to work in a public setting and deal first-hand with the event organizer and their attendees.
