Account Executive – Outside Sales – Tucson

Compensation: Base Starting Pay is $70,000 for the first year, with the opportunity to earn commissions on new business. Periodic (30-60-90 day) reviews will take place to evaluate performance, and adjust base and commission pay as needed, with the goal of reaching commission only after one year of employment.

Position Overview: Account Executive, Outside Sales, must have 2 or more years of experience in a sales capacity in the food industry. Cold calling, product demonstration and strong customer service skills are required. This is an outside sales position, and daily travel to customers is required.

Position Requirements:

Strive to meet or exceed annual sales budget.

Establish & maintain an efficient sales route to maximize customer contact and satisfaction.

Use available resources to inform customers of available products.

Cold call prospective customers.

Daily Travel within territory. Monthly Travel to Tucson for mandatory meetings.

Attend and actively participate with customers during the annual Customer Appreciation Show.

Participate in annual budget review with management.

Weekly review of all customer accounts, following up on issues as needed., including short pays, credit issues, receivables issues, etc.

Use Driver’s Note to track and submit routes for management review and approval.

Must be an enthusiastic self-starter who can work with little to no direct supervision.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual is a plus.

Must be proficient with computers and tablets.

Must have valid US work authorization.

Must have a valid Driver License and be able to provide a recent MVR Report of driving record.

Must show proof of valid vehicle insurance, with minimum liability coverage of $100,000 (per person) / $300,000 (per occurrence). Proof of coverage will be required annually.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
