Plant Nursery Retail Sales (Green Things)

Large 13 acre Tucson-based Nursery and Garden Center seeking experienced Retail Sales personnel. Successful candidates will possess excellent customer service and selling skills, as well as practical common sense business orientation to daily work. Extensive knowledge of desert landscape plants, trees and cacti, including plant identification, botanical names, growth habits and care knowledge is required. Must enjoy being part of a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, growth-oriented work environment and be able to jump in where needed regardless of defined role. You will be expected to "lead by example". Job requires routine lifting, bending and work outdoors each day in the extreme desert weather including sun, rain, cold, dust and wind. Prior plant nursery experience, aand valid Driver's License required. Background Check, references from previous supervisors/business owners and random drug testing may be required. This is a full time position. Weekend shift required, specific hours and days may change seasonally. Compensation DOE.
