WE NEED SOMEONE TO BE OUR E-COMMERCE MANAGER AND: be responsible for successfully executing e-commerce operations and online sales as part of our retail Thrift Shop. The manager will provide leadership and guidance to drive online sales, e-commerce operations, and merchandizing, and create a positive customer experience.
YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR (BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING):
Oversee work and schedule of Online Shop Teams which are staffed by volunteers.
Provide necessary training to team members and oversee workflow.
Substitute for team members as needed.
Manage items placed online, markdown schedule, and pulling of merchandise.
Develop and implement an online marketing strategy to increase website traffic and sales, i.e. social media posts and weekly Constant Contact emails.
Coordinate with Retail departments to select inventory and plan seasonal sales.
Analyze customer data and website analytics to identify trends and opportunities to improve the customer experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
High school diploma or GED.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work under pressure.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
1-3 Years Thrift Production &/or Operations Management
Online Retail Experience
Customer Service
Social media marketing
Microsoft Office 365 experience, specifically Excel
Databases, eCommerce platforms
Creative and strategic mindset
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
HOURS: Approximately 20-30 hours per week; Tuesday, Thursday from 10 am-2 pm, Saturday from 10 am-4 pm. Work remotely or onsite for the remainder of hours.
SALARY: $18.00 - $22.00, Depending on experience. Background check required.
