Merit Foods of Arizona, a Tucson-based, local, family-owned company is looking for a responsible and highly motivated team player to work as an Inventory Specialist in our Tucson warehouse.
Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday (day shift, with varying start/end times between 5am - 4pm, depending on the needs of the business).
An Inventory Specialist is responsible for cycle counting and inventory management, and will work with supervisor(s) to identify and complete special warehouse projects to increase efficiency in our operations. Our ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience with managing large amounts of inventory. We are looking for a self starter who can work with minimal supervision, understands basic math and can operation and understand a computer and warehouse scanning software for inventory control.
Equipment used: order picker, electric pallet jacks, forklift, computer, scanner.
Physical requirements: must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs, and stand/walk for a full shift. Must also be able to work in both warm and cold temperatures, including a freezer room.
Other requirements: must be able to take instruction and communicate (written & spoke in English) with fellow team members, supervisors and management in a respectful manner.
Must be safety conscious.
