Minimum qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in quality control or mechanical inspection
Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Excellent attention to detail
Experience using Net Inspect is a plus
Minimum HS Diploma or Equivalent
Essential Functions:
Inspecting and measuring parts to ensure they meet design specifications
Preparing inspection reports that detail results, generating QN’s to identify findings
Duties and Tasks:
Perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts and assemblies to drawings and specifications
Utilize a variety of precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM’s etc.
Understand GD&T requirements and be able to apply them during the inspection process
Document inspection results in accordance with customer requirements (AS9102)
Train other inspectors on proper inspection techniques
Other duties as assigned
