GG&G has been successfully designing and manufacturing American Made firearm accessories for 31 years in Tucson. Products are manufactured for military, law enforcement and civilian use. We are seeking a dependable and energetic person with a positive mental attitude to join our team and receive on-the-job training for an entry level Manufacturing Technician/Machinist Trainee position. Will be cross trained in various areas of our manufacturing process. Opportunity for role transitions and advancements within the company. Specific job functions include but are not limited to:

We are willing to train entry level candidates with minimal experience.

In this entry level Manufacturing Technician/Machinist Trainee role you will be working with your hands daily, learning manual machine set ups and the steps for each process.

You will be using lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, tumblers, sandblasters and other manufacturing equipment to perform tasks related to the manufacturing of GG&G products. (www.GGGAZ.com)

Follow all personnel, product and safety regulations and all company policies and procedures.

Maintain the efficiency and accuracy of production processes and equipment.

Learn how to repair and maintain production equipment based on training and management approval if necessary.

Assist our Machinists with setup and be trained in the process.

Setup and safely operate machine tools such as lathes, mills, drill presses and grinders to perform maintenance tasks.

Perform routine maintenance on machinery, as necessary.

General cleaning/organizing of shop floor as directed.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

English proficiency (written/verbal) is a must.

Excellent attendance and punctuality is essential.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Ability to assume different roles and grow within the company. Flexibility is key. Ability to change tasks quickly/comfortably.

Must have a mechanical aptitude.

Willingness to learn, problem solve and be pro-active.

Must be energetic, conscientious, courteous and possess excellent communication skills.

Strong organizational skills. Maintain a clean and well organized work space.

Possess a team player mentality, yet be able to successfully work independently when necessary.

Possess some mechanical ability and possess strong hand/eye coordination.

Full time employment. Eight-hour day shift- five days a week. 8:00AM to 5:00pm.

Paid holidays.

Group Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage after 90 days.

1 week paid vacation after first year of employment, 2 weeks paid vacation every year after.
