Argus Machine is seeking an evening shift CNC Lathe operator to make prototype and production parts. Our company is an AS9100, growing shop that manufactures tight tolerance components for multiple local industries.
Job Description:
We are looking for self-motivated individuals that have goo machining discipline and some experience with tight tolerance machining to work in out clean, friendly environment. 2nd shift 3:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m., M-Th plus OT.
Job Requirements:
Ability to do all shop math functions associated with inspection procedures and/or setups.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T).
Maintain traveler package, complete and maintain appropriate quality records and data entry, and physically move product within the department.
Full working knowledge of all types of precision measuring tools and equipment.
Ability to read G-code and make some programming changes at the machine when directed.
Ability to operate CNC Lathe machines for many different components.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with machine operators, peers, and management.
Able to lift, load and handle various size production parts up to and including 50 pounds.
Must have demonstrated ability to take initiative, be proactive and act with minimal oversight/direct supervision.
Must be discipline in good machining techniques and willing to be trained to our method of running jobs.
Must be accurate, clean, and detailed.
Good attendance and communication skills.
Must be honest.
Must have own basic tools and measuring instruments.
References must be available and will be checked.
Must be able to pass drug test.
Benefits:
Pay: $15-$18/hr. DOE + 10% shift differential
