The Warehouse Technician – Shipping & Receiving is responsible for performing all aspects of inventory handling, including receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials and equipment. This role supports the operational needs of the site by ensuring materials are available and processed accurately and efficiently, following established safety and inventory procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
Unload, inspect, and document materials received.
Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
Pick, pack, and issue parts and materials to internal customers in a timely manner.
Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, documentation, and scheduling.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Conduct periodic inventory cycle counts and assist with year-end physical inventories.
Comply with all safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives within the warehouse function.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
1+ year of experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or inventory management.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification may be required).
Basic computer skills, including use of inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in industrial, mining, or heavy equipment warehouse operations.
Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise inventory systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of MSHA or OSHA safety regulations.
Schedule & Working Conditions:
Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Work is primarily performed in a warehouse or yard setting, with some outdoor exposure.
