What We Do:
As an entry-level ductwork fabricator at our company, you'll be part of a vital team that keeps homes and businesses comfortable year-round. You'll be responsible for creating the sheet metal ductwork that carries air throughout HVAC systems. This critical job requires precision, accuracy, and a strong work ethic.
What You'll Do:
Cut, bend, and roll sheet metal using a variety of tools and equipment, such as shears, brakes, and rolls.
Assemble ductwork components using rivets, screws, and other fasteners.
Inspect ductwork for quality and ensure it meets all specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Learn to read blueprints and understand basic HVAC system design.
As you gain experience, you may also have the opportunity to operate CNC plasma cutters and other automated equipment.
What You'll Bring:
No prior experience in ductwork fabrication is necessary, but a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.
Basic math skills are required for measuring and cutting sheet metal.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are necessary for using tools and equipment.
You should be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and a team-player mentality are a plus.
