Commercial Building Maintenance company seeking qualified Reliable and Responsible candidate for Day Porter Services. Ideal candidate must be able to work independently and reliably. Having a Clean Driving Record is a MUST. MUST also have the physical ability to walk with a blower, change out and/or empty garbage cans, clean up around dumpsters, picking up trash on the ground, wipe off window sills, and paint over graffiti. This is NOT a "driving job". There is lots of walking and blowing of curb lines etc. Also lots of garbage cans and liners to be changed.
Responsibilities of the Day Porter:
Perform basic pre-trip inspection, which includes oil level, tire pressure, burnt out lights etc.
Porter will drive a company truck to a Shopping Center. Dump or change out all garbage bags, pick up trash, blow off curb lines and sidewalks, paint over any graffiti, and report any issues noticed while on site.
Drive the truck responsibly from job site to job site.
Good knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
Must have a clean MVR and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Random drug testing is also to be expected.
Shift is 4:30 am to 12:30pm Mon-Fri
We are currently seeking a full time employee 40hrs per weak OT on occasion.
Pays $17-$22hr DOE. Experience preferred but not necessary.
