Established Commercial General Contractor seeking experienced superintendent with commercial experience: The Construction Superintendent coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete a project on schedule and within budget.
Job Summary: On-site Superintendent for commercial projects. Experience with ground up and tenant improvement preferred. Must be familiar with general construction methods and materials. Must have the ability to schedule and manage subcontractor work to be completed with quality and in a timely manner. Ability to manage a project and meet deadlines a necessity. Ability to perform administrative duties i.e, daily reports, weekly look ahead schedules, safety meetings, etc. Ability to perform light trade work a plus.
Requirements:
Must have commercial construction experience. Min 5yrs in supervisory role preferred.
Ability to read and interpret project documents (blue prints, specification book, etc.)
Able to meet deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Computer literacy
Must have own transportation and valid license
