Position Overview:
We offer an extraordinary opportunity for a Certified Caregiver to live on-site in their own separate living quarters, with rent, utilities, and food provided at no cost. This position does not come with a set schedule, allowing for flexibility. Often, the caregiver may not be required to work directly on the floor and often for less than 40 hours per week. The role involves being on-call to assist with caregiving duties, training new employees, covering shifts as necessary, and engaging in 10 hours of activities with our residents every 7-day pay period, all without exceeding 40 hours of work per week. This role also includes caring for our chickens and participating in farm activities, contributing to our residents' unique and fulfilling living experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Flexibly respond on-call to caregiving duties, emergencies, and ensure a prompt, effective response within the facility.
Conduct training for new employees on caregiving protocols, standards of care, and facility operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and service.
Engage in up to 10 hours of resident activities in a 7-day pay period, fostering community engagement and resident satisfaction.
Participate in the care and maintenance of our farm's chickens, integrating this unique aspect into our residents' living experience.
Cover shifts as necessary, with the flexibility to not work directly on the floor regularly.

Requirements:
Must be a Certified Caregiver with relevant experience in assisted living or senior care settings. CPR,Finger Print Clearance card, TB clearance and food handler card.
Exceptional training and communication skills for effectively instructing and mentoring new staff.

Independent work capability, with excellent time management and the flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of our residents and facility.
