Male In Home Caregiver in Saddlebrooke
We are Alternatives in Home Care, a professional senior care management agency. We are currently looking for several experienced male caregivers (preferred) who live in or are willing to travel to Saddlebrooke to assist our male client with activities of daily living in his home. You will prepare meals, remind the client to take medications, assist with showers, go shopping, provide companionship and safety supervision, and other duties to support the client in his goal to remain safely in his home. You should have experience working with individuals with ALS and be comfortable communicating with the client in writing (read and write English).
Starting pay is $18-$20 an hour and possibly more. Depending on where you live in relation the client(s), you will also receive a gas allowance for travel.
You must be computer literate, reliable, and flexible. You should have at least 6 months paid experience as a caregiver, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check. This opportunity will start as part-time and is expected to be full-time or a possible live-in situation in the coming months. Preference will be given to those who are available any day/night of the week.
