Caregiver.
I have Power of Attorney for a 93-year old woman with moderate dementia. She receives care 14 hours per day 7 days a week. Care includes bathing, dressing, food preparation, medication supervision, light housework, and companionship. Dee is very sweet and easy to deal with. Caregivers love her! The location is a private home in Del Webb's Sun City in Oro Valley. The hours we need to fill are Saturday and Sunday 8:00am to 9:00 pm in one or two shifts, depending on how the candidates want to work it out. It would be ideal the caregiver would work well with the other caregivers, exchange information and be willing to fill in for them when they are ill or otherwise unavailable. The candidate should be experienced with dementia patients, have a positive, upbeat attitude and be willing to take direction. CNA and Medication certification would be helpful.
