SNAPS, a school meal catering company, is looking for experienced food service workers to join and grow with the company. Must be flexible to work around school calendars.
Qualifications
1. Required
-Six months of experience in quantity cooking or related work
-General knowledge of methods used in large scale food preparation
-Food handlers permit
-Ability to read and follow recipes, production records, procedures, cleaning schedules and logs.
-Finger Print Clearance Card
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals to students
Build positive relationships with students, school staff and kitchen staff
Maintain the kitchen, cafeteria and serving areas clean and safe
Follow all HACCP Policies and Procedures
Participate in food meal delivery to schools
Complete daily production records and food logs
Mental & Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for most of shift
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull objects (50-100 pouncs) related to the delivery and receiving, preparation and serving of food.
Ability to withstand temperature extremes
