We are currently seeking energetic and highly motivated individuals to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, friendly, personable, outgoing, able to lift 50 lbs., maintain a clean driving record, and will be required to complete a drug screen and background check.
Complete routine cleaning schedules
Provide custodial services for services of worship, memorials, weddings, concerts, regular events and non-church
events
Set up for all programs and events, including furniture, audio and visual aids
Learn sound and lighting systems for all services
Assist the Pastors with special events, memorials and weddings
Meets with members of the Congregation as well as church committees to establish room configuration and other
special needs
Assist “Patio Sale” personnel with all maintenance needs ( e.g., special order dumpsters)
Maintain the security of the premises to be sure the building is in safe condition and locked when the premises are
vacant.
Opens and closes church as the church calendar requires.
Maintain a presence in the church until closing time, which gives the people remaining in the church a sense of
security.
Follows the monthly custodian work schedule, working with all custodians.
Keep the Building and Grounds Chairperson and the Pastor/Head of Staff informed of major repairs needed.
Perform minor repairs as necessary and temporary repairs in an emergency.
Perform duties as assigned by the pastor or head of Staff
