We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our cannabis infusion kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production of cannabis-infused edibles ensuring accurate dosing. Responsibilities:
Packaging and Labeling:
- Package finished cannabis-infused products and candies.
- Label products and ensure they meet state regulatory standards.
Cleaning and Sanitization:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
Inventory management:
- Communicate with supervisors to reorder supplies as needed.
- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels of cannabis-infused products and raw materials.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all regulations and guidelines set forth by local cannabis regulatory authorities.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Infusion and Edibles Production:
- Assist in the preparation of cannabis-infused products and the creation of various candies.
- Follow precise recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in products.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying moderate loads, and working with kitchen equipment.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packaging and labeling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work weekdays Monday - Friday as needed.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
- Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Must be 21 years of age.
