The Windows System Administrator will support the Air National Guard’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle operations as part of a diverse team managing a globally distributed information system. Provide Tier I & IIsupport to a global information system.

Managethe functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.

Configure, manageand maintain servers within a VMWare virtualized environment.

Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.

Setup administrator and service accounts.

Maintainsystem documentation.

Interactwith users and evaluate vendor products.

Makerecommendations to purchase hardware/software, coordinate installation, and provide backup recovery.

Developand monitorpolicies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

Developand implementtesting strategies and document results.

Provideadvice and training to end-users.

Provideguidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.

Provide local on-call/call-back touch labor support.

Participates in special projects as required.

Maintain/apply STIGs and patches/firmware updates.

Maintains email and database server.

US Citizen

Must have Top Secret clearance.

One (1+) year of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.

IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security Training,CySA+,GICSP,GSEC) equivalent or higher.

Computing Environment certification in either Windows Server, ACAS, HBSS, or similar technology within 6 months of hire.

Knowledgeable and experienced in VMWare NSX or CISCO VXLAN.

Preferred:

BA/BS degree inComputer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.

IAT Level III Certification equivalent or higher perDoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.).

Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) servers experience.

Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

Problem solver and troubleshooterwho thrives in resolvingcomplex problems.

Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.

Experience providing quality service and support for mission-critical systems and VIP end users.

Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
