What You Will Do
Review, investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering projects.
Serve as Project Manager or Technical Expert, on a wide range of small to medium site construction, expansion or modification projects.
Evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
Provide guidance and counsel to the site management team on applicable processes, practices, and existing/proposed local, state and federal regulations.
May contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated Engineering areas.
May represent the site on company sponsored steering teams, such as Mill Operations, Refinery Operations, etc.
Perform other duties as required.
What You Bring To Freeport
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline and three (3) years of related experience in Engineering, including Project Management experience, OR
Master's degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline and two (2) years of related experience in Engineering, including Project Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Structural engineering, or closely related
Strong safety knowledge with a commitment to safety
Ability to commute from Tucson and Safford on a regular basis
Project Management knowledge
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Supervisor/mentor experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced/dynamic environment
What We Offer You The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $87,000-$121,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
