Job Summary:An excellent opportunity exists within the Air and Space Defense Systems Estimating and Pricing organization. In this position, the employee will be responsible for the preparation of various types of proposals for development, production and competitive contracts including modifications to existing contracts. In addition, the Estimating organization supports gate reviews, government audits and negotiations with the customer. The employee will be expected to support programs onsite, with opportunities to work remotely as appropriate.Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. This position will support Tucson, Arizona. Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Provide support for the development of Basis of Estimates to include validating and examining actuals, ensuring consistency within task descriptions, and confirming estimating approach is sound
Utilize company programs and tools for estimating and pricing activities.
Develop Request for Estimates which are used to kick off proposals
Prepare non-complex Gate 4 charts for program/company leadership review of proposal information
Ability and willingness to gain special access clearance to work activities as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math, Management, or other closely related field.
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
Experience with Excel (i.e., basic formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, etc.)
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with multiple Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint)
Good investigative abilities
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines in a schedule-driven environment
Effective planning and scheduling skills that lead to the completion of proposal efforts in accordance to customer and company requirements
The ability to work well in teams, with peers and management
The ability to follow and apply internal and external regulations to the development of company proposals

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
