Description Our client, in the medical industry, is in need for two Medical Billing/Collections Specialist to join their team on a long-term contract! This is in northern side of Tucson, and will be a hybrid work model, with remote work being the primary focus after the initial training period. However, the candidate will be required to attend important meetings and trainings in person. This will be for 6 months to year, however, could go permanent for the right individual.Key Responsibilities: Processing medical billing and claims efficiently and accurately. Handling patient collections, explaining the billing process to patients when necessary. Collaborating with commercial insurance, Medicare, and AHCCS for billing purposes. Managing a high volume of work and maintaining accurate customer credit records. Utilizing Accounting Software Systems, such as EHR SYSTEM for various tasks. Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and executing appeals and authorizations as necessary. Overseeing benefit and billing functions. Ensuring proper follow-up on patient collections.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, claims, and collections. Knowledge of EHR SYSTEM is required. Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Ability to handle Appeals and Authorizations effectively. Understanding of Benefit and Billing Functions.
