This position will liaise with the MineStar Solutions regional teams, other Caterpillar business units, and dealers to pursue autonomous product development and coordinate technical/commercial proposals.What you will do:· Leads the development of mining equipment recommendations and commercial proposals.· Participates on behalf of and commits Caterpillar in direct sales negotiations.· Provides input to product business units concerning new product development, new product requirements, anti-competitive strategies, and pricing.· Establishes pricing strategies and is partially accountable for profitability.· Maintains coverage of key mining customers.· Trains dealer mining sales forces.· Evaluate product performance on customers' mine sites and recommend ways to improve customers' operations, efficiencies, and cost-per-ton.· Spearheads the introduction of new mining products, services, and technologies.· The position manages the completion of its own work assignments and coordinates work with others.· The position is challenged to quickly and correctly identify problems, which may not be obvious.
