We are seeking an experienced Spanish immersion elementary school teacher to teach a full kindergarten/1st grade curriculum in our home for our two daughters and possibly 2 - 3 friends at the same grade level. We would plan to purchase a full curriculum for both grades and provide all supplies and accessories.
We plan to homeschool the children during the 2020/2021 school year due to concerns about COVID-19 but my husband and I both work full time and cannot facilitate the curriculum. We also have a full time nanny that would be present in the home to support the children's other needs. Our intention would be to take measures to create a safe environment for both our girls, our nanny and the new teacher joining our family team.
We are seeking a candidate that can push our children forward academically while also encouraging their imaginations. The ideal candidate will be able to supplement the standard curriculum with additional activities that will encourage their understanding of social sciences, geography, biology, personal finance etc. Physical activity will also need to be part of their daily activities.
Schedule - Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (some flexibility on the schedule is possible and some of the scheduled time may be reserved for lesson planning).
