Well established community management company has an opening for a part-time Gate Attendant; hours are Saturday and Sunday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am. This position requires excellent customer service skills along with strong communication and accurate typing skills. You must be able to effectively and clearly interact with all levels of staff, residents, guests, service providers, etc. in a friendly and professional manner.
The Gate Attendant works to ensure safety and enforce policies at the gate leading into a residential community in a friendly manner. This is not a security guard position. The gate operates 24 hours per day and seven days a week.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
greeting residents and visitors while managing entry into the community accurately;
ensuring accuracy in all aspects of gatehouse operations;
entering guest information using an iPad and assisting with the maintenance of precise records;
monitoring gate operation;
ensuring community safety rules are being followed.
This shift works Saturdays and Sundays 6:00 pm-6:00 am. The Gate Attendant reports to the Gate Supervisor. This position requires Gate Attendants to work during all weather conditions and requires standing, walking and sitting.
