What You’ll Do as an Assistant Manager:
As the Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our camp. Here’s a glimpse of what your responsibilities will include:
Supervise Camp Operations: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service while overseeing our team of Camp Counselors.
Staff Leadership: Train, supervise, and motivate staff to ensure they’re fully equipped to deliver top-notch care for our campers.
Customer Service Excellence: Address client concerns and feedback promptly, ensuring every pet parent feels confident and cared for.
Problem Solving: Handle dog behavior issues and ensure the safety of all campers and staff, while keeping pet parents informed.
Team Collaboration: Promote a positive team environment, foster morale, and encourage growth and development among employees.
Adaptability: Step in to cover shifts during emergencies and be available by phone when needed.
Administrative Duties: Prepare reports, document client communication, and support process improvements to keep operations running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:
Education: High School Diploma required.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role or related experience.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a team.
Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a commitment to resolving issues with professionalism and care.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle conflicts and challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage priorities, multitask, and adapt to changing situations.
Physical Requirements: Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting items over 50 pounds. Must be prepared for loud environments and occasional outdoor work.
