Sourcing Lead

The Sourcing Lead independently manages sourcing projects across multiple categories, negotiates with suppliers, and collaborates closely with client stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical and negotiation skills and plays a key role in delivering cost savings and process improvements for client procurement operations.Responsibilities:Strategic Sourcing ExecutionLead end-to-end sourcing events, including strategy development, RFx execution, supplier evaluationDevelop sourcing plans aligned with client goals, timelines, and compliance requirements.Supplier Negotiation & ManagementNegotiate pricing, terms, and service levels with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value improveManage supplier performance and support issue resolution in collaboration with client teams.Category Insight & AnalysisAnalyze spend data, supplier capabilities, and market trends to inform sourcing strategies.Identify opportunities for cost reduction, consolidation, or innovation within assigned categories.Client EngagementServe as a sourcing advisor to client stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights.Facilitate stakeholder alignment and manage expectations throughout the sourcing process.Drive and influence customer decisions relative to the project determinations. Process ImprovementRecommend and implement improvements to sourcing processes, templates, and tools.Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing across the team.Project LeadershipBuild project plan, timelines, and expectations for various projects as assigned to drive completion with partners.Direct resources that are supporting the various projects to complete key tasks and meet timelines.
