The combination of our 16,000 branches, multiple datacenters and clouds, and 1,000's of users is creating new demand on our infrastructure which is the foundation for everything we do. This role will be key to our future success, providing leadership with guidance to make critical infrastructure decisions.As a member of the Infrastructure Architecture & Strategy team, you will contribute across multiple areas to architect modern, innovative, robust, secure and easy to operationalize solutions to support the organization. The incumbent will drive architectural best practices, provide strategic guidance and help to improve architecture discipline across multiple technology domains.The Sr. Technical Architect must be able to synthesize architecture plans with an informed view of new and emerging technology solutions that enable digital transformation across the enterprise. Additionally, this candidate must demonstrate the ability to effectively present recommendations and decisions with pertinent data and research, including the evaluation and sourcing of new technologies.The ideal candidate will pose strong technical leadership skills, is able to influence decisions, and has excellent soft skills to build relationships. You will work with leadership and technical SMEs across several foundational pillars including infrastructure, cloud, security, platforms, observability, and support. In addition, you will work with other cross-functional teams to ensure we align with broader enterprise strategies, such as Development, Solution Architecture, and Enterprise Architecture.This exciting role enables Architects to elevate their technical aptitude, showcase their ability to lead and apply their breadth of expertise towards visible business outcomes in a growing and highly respected organization.Team Objectives: Establish a Hybrid Cloud Strategy:Create a multi-year plan that ensures data center, private and public cloud capabilities cost-effectively align to long-term, dynamic business demands. Advance the Firm's priority and innovative initiatives:Provide thought leadership and advisory to advance transformative business initiatives. Assist technical and non-technical decision makers by defining non-functional requirements to ensure desired outcomes and user experiences are achieved Strengthen the Firm's Architecture Discipline:Ensure systems meet long term needs by following Architecture Guiding Principles. Foster a culture of transparency and data driven discussions within Architecture Working Groups and creating Architecture Decision Records.Responsibilities:
Serve as one of the primary technical leaders for the Infrastructure Division. Undertakes the most complex IT projects involving multiple disciplines or layers, some of which impact multiple business units and our 16,000+ branches
Demonstrate breadth of expertise in multiple infrastructure domains, including server, storage, network, security, and end-user computing, across on-premise and cloud environments
Govern and enforce Architecture processes to ensure requirements, expectations and risks are clearly defined and agreed upon by product owners and stakeholders
Guide technical and non-technical teams through Architecture Processes to ensure solutions are documented and designed to meet requirements
Correlate non-functional requirements to technology patterns to provide delivery teams a clear understanding of what should be deployed and why
Actively participate in strategic discussions and make recommendations to peers and leaders
Research industry trends and lead the assessment of new technologies
Contribute to and influence the Digital roadmap based on business needs
Create Artifacts, such as Business Cases, Complex Diagrams, and POC Read-outs
Represent Technology division during complex contract negotiations
Create financial estimates for new solutions, such as TCO & ROI
Drive technology standards, patterns, and blueprints
Conduct 3rd party solution assessments and provide input throughout procurement process
Demonstrate forward thinking around where the organization is going and how technology can support these efforts
Create and contribute to Architecture Decision Records
Correlate non-functional requirements to technology patterns that ensure SLAs are met
Actively participate in Architecture Working Groups to ensure technical alignment and awareness
Suggest opportunities to improve the stability, observability, and resiliency of systems
Present ideas to most Sr. level technical resources and leaders

Strong Azure Cloud experience including core network and foundational platforms
Deep understanding of network, compute, storage
Deep understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery
Understanding of K8's functionality
Understanding of automation and self-service
Strong technical leadership and collaboration skills
Strong documentation skills
Strong mentoring skills, able to educate and upskill others
Understanding of guiding principles, architectural patterns, and roadmaps
Comfortable presenting ideas to technical, non-technical, and leadership audiences
