As a Mechanical Design Engineer II/Site Repair Development Engineer, you will be responsible for providing mechanical aftermarket product design knowledge and experience relating to Mechanical System and Components (MS&C) products. You will be required to lead novel, Bigger, Bolder, Faster and Make it Happen engineering projects relating to Productivity, Cost takeout, Value Engineering and Work scope standardization programs to ensure that business objectives are achieved through Product Design improvements that ultimately help ship products with the utmost quality.RESPONSIBILITIES
Product focused and add value by changing the current design to support business objectives
Ensure a disciplined and data driven approach is utilized for technical decisions
Support GROE productivity goals utilizing the Value Creation Process
Drive GROE material savings financial acumen to ensure productivity compliance
Develop innovative repair designs to restore Aftermarket parts and alleviate shortages
Operate as a team member in Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma and Honeywell Operating System (HOS)
Establish a technical interface between Honeywell customer support representatives and customers
Partner with our customers to identify and execute actions to drives future growth opportunities

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
2+ years of engineering experience (electronical, mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing or process)

DFSS Green Belt Certification
SAP experience
