This is a professional level position that reports to the Sr Cust Supp Mgt Supervisor in the Customer Experience Division for Honeywell’s US Digital Designs group. We are a small office that focuses on Fire Station Alerting and supporting public safety professionals. In this position, you will expand your skill set by working with a variety of public safety customers via professional contracts, service agreements, and warranties. You will be part of a close-knit contracts team of 3 and be part of a larger team and company. You will work with many dedicated, knowledgeable staff who are passionate about our mission. You will provide our customers with guidance through the contract and service agreement process, using your excellent reading, writing and communication skills to review and create agreements which protect the Office while providing for customer’s needs.In this role, you will be involved in all areas of Service Contracts and their impact on our team and company. Your ability to be a strong self-starter, critical thinker with the ability to adapt to change and think outside the box will have a direct impact on our customers, their goals, and our needs to fulfill them. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Review, draft, negotiate a variety of contracts, including customer agreements ranging from Purchase Agreements, End User Agreements and Service Agreements, various vendor agreements including Reseller Agreements and related documents, and Licensing Agreements.

Perform contract processes, including analysis and reporting contract data, maintaining contract information, customer contact information and managing key supplier relationships, tracking contract status, and finalizing basic and complex contracts and ensuring all signatures are obtained properly.

Develop, draft and update template contract forms as needed.

Analyze, track, process and facilitate payment under customer Service Agreements.

Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies in all contractual matters.

Ensure consistency across acquisition documentation.

Facilitate program execution and decision-making.

Collaborate with contract manager to resolve any claims or disputes.

Assist with the preparation and filing of Requests for Proposals, Quotes or Bids, including drafting of responses, tracking critical deadlines, and finalizing proposals for filing.

Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive legal support.

YOU MUST HAVE

3-5 years’ experience in writing clear, concise, and accurate proposals and contracts

Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, business law, commerce, economics, or a closely related field;

Experience utilizing legal terminology with a strong knowledge of contract terminology, terms, and conditions

Experience analyzing and managing Service Contract actions from conception to implementation.

Familiarity and experience with relevant local, state, and federal laws, including federal and state procurement laws, rules, and regulations.

Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills (oral and written)

Ability to efficiently use a personal computer and applicable software, such as SAP, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe

Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of State Contract Policies, RFP, RFI and RFQ’s

Demonstrated knowledge of contract law, and principles of negotiations

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with negotiations

Demonstrated ability to write policies and procedures

Experience Internationally and DoD industry

Ability to work collaboratively and provide leadership in resolving issues

Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing in a concise and clear manner that allows clients and coworkers to understand and follow direction given

Ability to manage a diverse workload, and meet required deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work under aggressive schedules with demanding performance requirements

Interaction is with a variety of people inside or outside the organization. Communications are often difficult or stressful in nature. Contact with others involves complex, detailed and often sensitive topics. The job requires a high degree of interpersonal skills to deal with a range of complicated problem situations. Interactions involve gaining the agreement of others.
