Job Description: Rutherford Diversified Industries, Inc. is looking for a heavy duty diesel & gas mechanic.
RDI will supply the truck but the mechanic must have his own tools, it is a plus to have welding experience.
We require that the mechanic have a CDL and be able to pass a four year background check on your drivers license. We can run this check with our insurance. It is also neccesary that you pass a background check with the government as some of our work requires you to be on a military post or working alongside the BNSF and other government jobs.
The mechanic will be working on heavy equipment, gas & diesel vehicles and heavy duty construction equipment. The candidate must have experience working with this type of focus for four or more years and supply a verifiable work history.
RDI maintains a regular fleet of trucks that travel between states so it is important that the mechanic be available to travel between Sierra Vista and El Paso, parts of New Mexico, Yuma, and southern California, just to name a few locations. RDI will pay for hotel accommodations or provide a travel trailer, but typical extent of travel is around one week.
This is a full time position and RDI does have a great benefit package, which includes: weekly pay, paid holidays, sick time after probation period, medical options, vision reimbursement.
