Link Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Virtualization Engineer (Senior Level) to join our team in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Must be a US Citizen Secret Clearance is requiredNon-remote (relocation incentive available)Monday- FridayThe Virtualization Engineer will support the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) on Fort Huachuca, AZ. You will provide Army Enterprise virtualization capability to install, configure, and manage a highly available and scalable virtual infrastructure. As the Virtualization Engineer, you will help develop plans for configuring, deploying, and administering virtual machines and vApps.You will become an integral part of a professionally diverse team while working at an industry-leading organization, where work/life balance and employees come first. This is a great opportunity that will allow you to work on innovative projects that offer advancement and growth while helping protect our national security.Job Responsibilities:Install, configure, and manage a highly available and scalable virtual infrastructure.Provide planning, installing, configuring, and upgrading support for vCenter Server and VMware ESXi cluster using either version 7.x and/or 8.x.Manage and allocate virtual hardware to virtual machines including right-sizing CPU and memory.Develop plans for configuring, deploying, and administering virtual machines and Virtual Applications.Establish and maintain service levels; perform troubleshooting; monitor vSphere implementations and vCenter server alarms.Apply/implement IAVMs, STIGs, bug fixes, security patches/controls, and access controls across multiple platforms.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
