As a Systems Engineer, you will provide mission support to the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) located on Fort Huchucaha. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, development, engineering, integration, technical and operational support for the Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), and Deployed Forces (DF) portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN).Job Responsibilities:

Provide planning, design, development, engineering, construction, integration, and technical and operational support to bare metal and virtual Lab Systems.

Construct and maintain multiple virtualized environments.

Prepare virtualized environments for functional tests in support of various NIPRNET/SIPRNET/Deployed Forces Enterprise and related organizational and/or team projects.

Provide troubleshooting and engineering support for the development, transition, and operation of Army Enterprise services related to Operational Engineering and Configuration Management.

Analyze and troubleshoot VMware Server deployment and virtualization issues.

Research applicable technologies and support the development of Federated Lab virtualization system design requirements, implement core infrastructure upgrades and new equipment.

Provide core Federated Lab support for systems engineering, Tier III troubleshooting, and integration to resolve and mitigate technical issues during component change implementation, and in response to user-submitted trouble tickets.

Provide core EOF support for operational testing of Army Enterprise and GNE system changes prior to operational integration.

Administer and maintain a variety of system hardware, such as multiple blade server systems and associated hardware, firmware, and software, in multiple virtualization environments.

Administer and maintain multiple virtualization hypervisor hosts and virtual machines in multiple virtualization environments.

Prepare, manage, and administer operating system/server templates for allocation to lab tenant’s virtual systems.

Deploy, administer, and maintain patching solutions for lab tenants and lab core equipment in multiple virtual environments.

Research applicable technologies and support the development of EOF virtualization system design requirements, implementation of core infrastructure upgrades, and new equipment. Provide recommendations to the COR based on the research.

US Citizen

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a T3 securityclearance.

IAT Level III Certification (CompTIA CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP,equivalent or higher).

BS and five (5+) years experience or nine (9+) years experience in lieu of a degree.

Computing Environment Certification, VCP-DCV5 or above

Required Technical Skills:

Experience in VirtualizedEnvironments, design, development, engineering, construction, integration, maintenance and operations. Tier III troubleshooting VMware Server deployment and virtualization issues.

Knowledge of configuration and administration of Federated Lab access control systems including Citrix, KVM, and Virtual Desktops to monitor and control authorization and authentication to the Lab.

Solid understanding of Army Enterprise LWN capabilities, tools, procedures, and operational constructs.
