Electronics Assembler I & II

Conveniently located just off the I-10 freeway in Marana, InterLnX is a comprehensive sub-contract manufacturer of electronic interconnects, wire harnesses, and sub-assemblies. We are currently looking for beginning and experienced electronics assemblers to join our team.

Electronics Assembler I or II

Job Duties:

Wire Harness assembly

Electro-Mechanical assembly

Wire cutting

Crimping

Soldering

Mechanical assembly

Maintaining a workstation and building products from a schematic

Training and/or coaching of employees

Qualified Candidates Must:

Be punctual and professional

Have strong attention to detail

Have a strong work ethic

Be able to work with their hands, sometimes hand crimping terminals for an entire day or more

Understand ISO 9001 / AS 9100 (Electronics Assembler II)

Be familiar with lean manufacturing concepts such as 5S/6S, Kanban, Kaizen, Visual Workplace (Electronics Assembler II)

Be able to maintain a clean and organized work area

Have mastery of basic mathematical skills including the ability to perform linear measurements

Have experience building custom cable assemblies and/or wire harnesses (Electronics Assembler II)

Have soldering and crimping experience (Electronics Assembler II)

Carry an active IPC-A-610 / A-620 and/or J-STD certification or have sufficient experience applying the workmanship standards (Electronics Assembler II)

Have the ability to read and understand complex work instructions, schematics, and drawings (Electronics Assembler II)

Preferred Qualifications Include:

ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100 training and/or certification

Experience training or coaching employees

Job Details

Hourly: $14.00 - $26.00 DOE

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm (some Fridays)

Reports to: Cell Lead, Production Department

Direct Reports: None

Job Prerequisites

Ability to lift 30 pounds

Ability to focus on detailed work for 8-10 hours at a time

Ability to use hand tools and equipment repeatedly for 8-10 hours/day

Ability to distinguish between different colors

Ability to pass a visual acuity test
