We are fast-growing meal prep company in need of serious inquiries only This is unique position with lots of room for growth. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable candidate to work closely with our ownership team. This person will function as a line cook, working directly alongside our executive chef, as well as overseeing our prep team. This person must have restaurant experience but is looking for something "more." The ideal candidate must be used to working in a fast paced environment and possess an outstanding work ethic, as well as dynamic leadership skills. Reliable transportation is a must as this position may require corporate deliveries.
Below is a list of some of the important qualifications for our ideal candidate:
Have a Food Service Handler's License
Working closely with ownership to learn all aspects of our meal prep team
Completing all tasks, in order, on the prep list from the Head Chef or other kitchen manager
Labeling and stocking all ingredients on easily accessible shelves
Washing, chopping and sorting ingredients like fruits, vegetables and meats (prep experience mandatory)
Experience as a line cook and prep chef (lack of kitchen experience will not be considered)
Measuring quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients
Adhering to all relevant nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards
Plating dishes with attention to detail
Steady work history
Reliable transportation is a must!
Eligible to work in the U.S.
This is a contract position to start, with approximately 40 hours/week. The position will transition to a W2 position.
