We are seeking a Construction General Manager with strong leadership skills and industry expertise to oversee business operations, project management, and financial performance.

Position Overview

The Construction General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and profitability of our construction operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with experience in managing budgets, contracts, scheduling, and workforce coordination. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction management, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily business operations, including project management, financial planning, and resource allocation

Develop and implement business strategies to drive profitability and growth

Manage contracts, bids, and client relationships to ensure successful project completion

Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance, optimizing cost control

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timelines and quality standards are met

Lead and mentor team members, ensuring high productivity and a positive work environment

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in construction management, business operations, or a similar leadership role

Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, budgeting, and scheduling

Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams

Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and financial reporting

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
