OverviewPay: $125,000 - $150,000The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.Essential FunctionsReporting to the VP of Operations the Project Manager (Automotive Construction Services) will need to possess strong cross-functional leadership skills to drive the success of ABM services on construction sites. The candidate will coordinate project activities, including layout, scheduling, cost accounting, problem solving, coordinating construction activities, documentation, and lead onsite staff. They are responsible for meeting scheduled completion dates, projected costs, and coordinating efforts with site staff, clients and ABM departments. This position requires a self-starter who has experience in construction, project management, industrial services as well as managing 3rd party suppliers.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage projects from start to completion encompassing, the five project phases, including, but not limited to.

Initiation Phase:

Assist & Support in development of final cost and evaluation, as well as coordinate with ABM’s sales & Automotive group for product and pricing information.

Present, review, and revise scope definitions, pricing, and schedule for internal team, as well as customers.

Planning Phase:

Project definition, budget development, documentation, and schedule.

Review and approve functional specifications ABM team & Customer.

Establish detailed project timelines/schedules.

Develop RFQs in conjunction with the Installation, Sales, and Procurement departments.

Develop staffing needs and hire key staff members.

Select vendors through competitive bid process with Procurement.

Execution Phase:

Drive operational excellence and in all areas, SQDCME & CI

Controlling / Monitoring Phase:

Maintain budget control and change orders.

Closely follow scope delivery from day-to-day, addressing and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction and a fully functional system. Approve release of payments/invoices, change orders, and other credits/debits to projects.

Coordination of proper documentation, drawings, & reporting to project stakeholders.

Closing Phase:

Obtain Project Acceptance from the customer.

Ensure financial closure of project with the Accounting team.

Close out projects with internal Postmortem (lessons learned) meetings.

Provide support to business and systems management in addressing complex business issues, conducting feasibility studies and business cases, performing cost/benefit analysis, assessing risks, presenting recommendations to management, implementing solutions, identifying potential information technology vendors and recommending purchases.

Collect, analyze, and interpret key consumer information in support of client-specific business objectives and desired outcomes.

Define, implement and maintain best practices for enhancing processes, procedures, documentation, data quality, consistency, and usability.

Strong strategic analytical skills with an ability to carry through with delivering on implementation of the strategies.

Ability to communicate effectively to all relevant stakeholders: from new client prospects, existing clients, internal managed staff to the internal Executive team and major shareholders.

Must have proven ability to understand a complex technical environment.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually-changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities

Ability to work across departments internally to solve any client issues that arise

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or business management and comparable large account management experience required.

Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience.

Working knowledge of the construction industry, construction services and Automotive manufacturing.

3 years of experience in program or project management within an industrial environment

Has managed and built teams that delivery multiple services within a client location.

Has had full budget financial responsibility for projects(s).

Demonstrated expertise in verbal and written communications.

Demonstrated willingness to work non-standard days and hours as required.

Proficient in Microsoft office suite of software programs including Teams.

Must have prior experience in an external customer/client facing environment.

Team-oriented, very responsible, self-motivated, and focused on exceeding expectations
