Description We are offering a dynamic role for an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a mid-sized law firm in Scottsdale, Arizona. This position is essential to our client's team as it involves assisting attorneys with drafting and finalizing pleadings, motions, and other filings in State and Federal Courts. You will be expected to handle a variety of duties, including case management, legal research, trial preparation, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in drafting and finalizing pleadings, motions, and other legal filings. File documents in state, federal, appeals, and justice courts. Manage dockets and handle case management efficiently. Provide discovery support by gathering and organizing relevant materials. Conduct legal research to support case preparation. Prepare for trials by organizing exhibits, assisting with witness preparation, arranging for evidence presentation, etc. Handle various administrative tasks to support legal proceedings. Utilize various software including Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, Microsoft Excel, and other management systems. Manage billing functions, calendar management, claim administration, and complaint handling. Prepare briefing documents and reports to help attorneys with case progression.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Paralegal role or similar legal support role Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel Experience with Case Management Software and Management Systems Familiarity with LexisNexis for legal research and case preparation Experience in handling billing functions Proven ability in drafting briefs and other legal documents Strong skills in calendar management and scheduling Experience in claim administration and complaint handling Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions based on law and facts.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
