A successful candidate will always be friendly and helpful while providing support to the Institutional Retirement Team and other team members in the office as needed.Responsibilities:
Assists with the preparation of retirement plan committee meeting materials for meetings using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and multiple cloud-based reporting systems (fi360, FDI, RPAG, etc.).
Work closely with our retirement plan vendor partners in gathering data needed for our quarterly meetings and using their websites to pull data from their reporting systems.
Use established procedures in place to update client investment data within monitoring & reporting software application
Assist and sometimes lead projects for Operations Team (OT) and assist our Client Relations Consultant Team (CRC).
Assist our consultant team in special client projects and/or events.
Manage multiple client service requests daily through telephone and email.
Assist with client events, client support, and special projects.
Be willing to be part of team that helps each other meet our goals to grow our book of clients.
Ability to multi-task
Create, update, and print Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations as needed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in office administration is a plus/desired
Understanding of retirement industry, specifically, institutional ERISA retirement plans, investment terminology, basic plan design provisions, fees and fee allocation, etc.
Standard office administrative practices and procedures, including the use of standard office equipment
Outgoing, friendly, values being part of a team
Strong proven organizational skills
Proactive approach to problem-solving
Good oral communication and interpersonal skills
Can work efficiently with little supervision and can also work with specific direction and collaboration.
Self-motivated, pride in quality of work
Ability to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
Detail oriented
