Description We are a reputable professional services firm in Scottsdale, AZ, seeking a Contract-to-Hire Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage software and a strong background in bookkeeping.Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle accounting processes using Sage software
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Prepare and post journal entries for general ledger maintenance
Handle payroll processing and payroll tax filings
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
Collaborate with external accountants on tax filings and audits
Provide support for other finance and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the professional services industry
Proficiency in Sage accounting software
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Experience with payroll processing and tax filings
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
