Description Are you an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that is looking for a long-term contract / contract position? Robert Half is currently trying to fill this position with a candidate that wants to become a crucial part in a team environment. Matching, batching, and coding invoices, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, and resolving A/P issues are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / contract position.Your responsibilities
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Assist with internal and external audits as needed
Perform special projects as assigned
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Carry out a full-cycle A/P Requirements - High attention to detail
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
