Are you a persnickety grammarian with a passion for the law? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented paralegal to join our team at the largest law firm in Yavapai County, Arizona. We are a transactional law firm that has been in operation for over 70 years. The paralegal will work closely with two attorneys in the areas of business law, real property law, government law, and probate representing individual, institutional, and nonprofit clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including drafting legal documents, administering estates, communicating with clients, and managing board communications and agendas. Ongoing training will be provided, allowing opportunities for learning and growth. Previous legal support experience is a plus, but it isn't required. We look forward to hearing from you!

Responsibilities:

· Draft legal documents such as contracts, leases, asset purchase agreements, deeds, estate plan documents, and probate pleadings

· Assist with deadline tracking and document review

· Administer trust and probate estates, draft notices to beneficiaries and creditors, prepare accountings

· Communicate with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions

· Schedule meetings, closings, and other events

· Prepare closing binders and post-closing reports

· Organize and manage files and case materials

· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· A bachelor's degree with at least one year of prior office experience is desired, but other combinations of education and/or experience will be considered for candidates with strong writing and technology skills

· High academic achievement required

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer/technology

· Minimum typing speed of 40+ WPM
